As someone who’s lived with skin conditions my whole life, I know how much our skin can shape how we see ourselves. For me, jewellery became more than decoration — it was a little light, a little comfort, a little confidence. Nudie was born from that feeling. A brand that doesn’t believe in hiding, but in gently highlighting what’s already there.

Our pieces are designed to empower. To be worn like a second skin — not to distract from who you are, but to remind you of your own beauty.

We believe in fewer, better pieces. Timeless, everyday jewellery crafted from 18k recycled gold vermeil, freshwater pearls, and cubic zirconia. Everything is waterproof-certified and designed to last. We regularly maintain our hypoallergenic status using The Anchor Cert Pro test — because jewellery should feel just as good as it looks.

And because loving the skin you’re in starts with understanding it, £1 from every piece sold is donated to The British Skin Foundation, towards research into skin health.

What materials are your jewellery made from?

At Nudie Jewellery, we believe in celebrating natural beauty with high-quality, sustainable materials.

All our pieces are crafted from brass and plated with 100% recycled gold vermeil*, ensuring a luxurious yet conscious finish. We use irregular freshwater pearls, carefully chosen to embrace their natural uniqueness, along with cubic zirconia gemstones to add a touch of sparkle.

*Please note; Gold vermeil will be introduced from Wave 2 of The Maiden Collection. Wave 1 pieces are gold-plated, which simply refers to the thickness of the gold plating and is reflected in the price

Are Nudies hypoallergenic?

Yes — all Nudie Jewellery pieces have been independently tested and certified as hypoallergenic by AnchorCert Pro, one of the world’s leading authorities in jewellery safety and skin compatibility.

We use brass as our base metal, plated in 18k recycled gold. While brass is commonly used in jewellery, certification through AnchorCert Pro means our pieces meet strict global standards for skin safety, making them suitable for even sensitive skin.

We’re also committed to ongoing transparency and will continue regular testing with AnchorCert Pro to maintain this accreditation. If you have a history of metal sensitivities, we still recommend consulting a dermatologist — but you can feel confident knowing our jewellery has been tested with your skin in mind.

Will my jewellery tarnish or fade over time?

A lifetime guarantee is reserved for solid gold jewellery only. Any gold-plated jewellery, including vermeil, will not last forever, but we’ve designed every piece to be as durable and long-lasting as possible. Our jewellery is waterproof, meaning it can handle daily wear, but tarnishing mostly depends on friction and exposure to chemicals. Like anything special, with the right care, your Nudies will stay beautiful for years to come.

How to Care for Your Nudie Jewellery:

That said, to keep your Nudies looking flawless for years to come, we recommend limiting exposure to friction—including when getting wet. While your jewellery can handle a splash or two, protecting it from excessive wear will help preserve its gorgeous shine and radiant finish, just like the first time you wear it!
