The next, your phone rings and somebody asks if you'd be willing to move next to Fairfax & Favor.
As if there was ever going to be a long discussion.
So this week at the Three Counties Show you'll find Nudie Jewellery on Royal Parade, right alongside one of the biggest names in British country fashion.
Now, before anyone gets carried away, we're not claiming we've made it. We're still the brand built around farm jobs, late nights and increasingly expensive ideas.
But there is something slightly surreal about looking at the site plan and seeing Nudie sitting there.
Fairfax. Nudie. Fairfax. Nudie.
It feels a bit like sneaking into the wrong WhatsApp group and nobody noticing.
We'll be bringing the full collection, plenty of pearls and hopefully enough caffeine to survive the weekend.
