Proud to Be Shortlisted for New Kid On The Block at The Small Awards 2026

We may not have taken home the trophy, but honestly? We’re still incredibly proud to have been shortlisted for New Kid On The Block at the Small Awards 2026.

For a young independent brand like Nudie, being recognised alongside so many brilliant businesses across the UK felt like a huge moment in itself.

And a very deserved congratulations to Little Scandi Baby on the win.


A Big Milestone for a Small Brand

Nudie Jewellery officially launched less than 12 months ago, built around a simple idea:

Jewellery should feel good on your skin, not just look good on it.

Since then, the journey has moved very quickly.

From launching our first collection and growing a loyal customer community, to expanding into stockists, events, press features and industry recognition, the past year has been full of moments we never want to take for granted.

Which is exactly why this shortlist meant so much.


What the Small Awards Celebrate

The Small Awards, organised by Small Business Britain, celebrate independent businesses making a meaningful impact across the UK.

The New Kid On The Block category recognises emerging brands showing strong potential in the early stages of growth — making it an especially exciting category for us to be part of.

To be shortlisted amongst so many inspiring businesses felt like genuine recognition of the work happening behind the scenes at Nudie.


More Than Just an Award

Awards are lovely.

But what matters most is what they represent.

For us, this nomination reflects:

  • the customers supporting a completely new brand
  • the growing conversation around skin-first jewellery
  • the belief that thoughtful, well-made products still matter

Every order, event conversation, stockist and message from customers has helped build Nudie into what it is becoming.

This recognition belongs to all of that.


Looking Ahead

Not winning doesn’t take away from what a huge moment this has been for our brand.

If anything, it’s motivation.

To keep refining.
To keep growing.
And to keep building jewellery designed for real women, real life and real skin.

We’re still only getting started.


Final Thought

A year ago, Nudie existed mostly as sketches, samples and late-night ideas.

So to now be shortlisted nationally amongst some incredibly exciting businesses feels pretty surreal.

And we’re very grateful to have been part of it.
