Nudie Jewellery Spotted at the BAFTAs 2026

Nudie Jewellery Spotted at the BAFTAs 2026

The BAFTAs are one of the most exciting nights in the British film calendar. Alongside the awards, the red carpet has become a moment where fashion, jewellery and personal style take centre stage.

This year, we were incredibly proud to spot something very special amongst the glamour — two Nudie pieces worn at the BAFTAs 2026.

Our Perla Necklace and Nacre Earrings were seen on the red carpet, bringing a subtle, modern take on pearl jewellery to one of the most watched evenings in film.

For a small independent brand, moments like this feel quietly extraordinary.

Pearl Jewellery on the BAFTAs Red Carpet

Pearls have been making a strong return to the red carpet over the last few years. Once associated purely with traditional jewellery, pearls are now being styled in more contemporary ways — layered, paired with minimal gowns, or worn as soft statement pieces.

At the BAFTAs 2026, pearls appeared across several looks, proving that they remain one of the most timeless choices for elegant evening styling.

The pieces spotted on the night were:

  • The Perla Necklace — a delicate freshwater pearl necklace designed for layering or wearing alone
  • The Nacre Earrings — understated pearl earrings that frame the face with a soft glow

Both designs are part of the Maiden Collection, which celebrates the natural beauty of irregular freshwater pearls.

Why Pearls Work So Well on the Red Carpet

Red carpet styling often leans towards jewellery that reflects light and enhances natural features without overpowering the overall look. Pearls do this beautifully.

Unlike highly polished gemstones, pearls have a softer lustre that feels refined and effortless. They complement many skin tones and photograph beautifully under event lighting.

It’s one of the reasons pearl jewellery continues to appear at events like the BAFTAs, film premieres and award ceremonies around the world.

From Everyday Jewellery to the BAFTAs

When we design jewellery at Nudie, we aren’t thinking about red carpets.

We’re thinking about real women and real life — jewellery that feels comfortable, wearable and beautiful enough to reach for every day.

That’s why seeing the Perla Necklace and Nacre Earrings appear at the BAFTAs felt so meaningful. They were designed to be effortless pieces — jewellery that quietly enhances rather than dominates.

The same pieces you might wear to dinner, to a celebration, or simply because you love them.

The Maiden Collection

Both pieces spotted at the BAFTAs come from Nudie’s Maiden Collection, a celebration of organic shapes and naturally irregular freshwater pearls.

Each pearl is unique, which means every piece has its own subtle character — something we believe makes jewellery feel personal and alive.

The collection focuses on:

  • Freshwater pearls with natural variation
  • Lightweight designs for everyday wear
  • Skin-first materials chosen for comfort
  • Jewellery that layers easily and grows with your style

A Small Brand, A Big Moment

Seeing Nudie jewellery at the BAFTAs 2026 was a surreal moment for our team. Moments like this remind us that jewellery doesn’t need to be loud to stand out — sometimes the most memorable pieces are the ones that feel natural and effortless.

For an independent brand built on the idea of loving the skin you’re in, it’s incredibly special to see our designs worn on such an iconic night.
