Nudie Jewellery Joins the #SBS Crew — with a Little Help from Theo Paphitis
Share
We’ve got some exciting news to share — and it comes with a sparkle. Nudie Jewellery has officially joined the #SBS Small Business Sunday community, thanks to a retweet from none other than retail entrepreneur and small business champion Theo Paphitis.
One Sunday evening in May, we shared our story with Theo during his #SBS initiative — a weekly spotlight that supports small businesses across the UK. Out of hundreds of entries, Nudie was chosen as one of just six winners, earning a coveted repost to Theo’s combined audience of over 800,000 followers across Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. Did I mention this was the first time we had entered?
To say we were shocked is an understatement. We’d only soft-launched in March, with our full debut just 2 weeks after winning on 6th June 2025. We still pack orders by hand in the evenings, design jewellery from our little base in Herefordshire, and film content between DIY projects and garden setups and of course the day job. To be recognised by such a respected voice in British retail so early on? It means the world.
As a result, our website has welcomed a wave of new visitors, our social channels have grown, and we've already connected with other inspiring small business owners through the #SBS community. You can now find our profile proudly featured on the official Small Business Sunday website.
“I launched Nudie to create elegant, skin-first jewellery that celebrates real skin and real stories — and it’s incredible to see that mission resonate. We’re still so new, but moments like this help us grow in the right way: with heart, with purpose, and with a wonderful community behind us.”
— Sophie Eckley, Founder of Nudie Jewellery
Now in its 15th year, Small Business Sunday is more than a social media campaign — it’s a movement that champions creativity, resilience, and hard work. Every week, six small businesses are chosen to join a network of over 4,000 previous winners, all with the opportunity to attend exclusive events, showcase their products, and be part of a community that uplifts and supports one another.
As Theo himself puts it:
“We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK. I wish Nudie Jewellery every success.”
If you’re a small business dreaming of your own SBS shoutout, Theo invites entries every Sunday between 5pm–7.30pm on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram or LinkedIn using the hashtag #SBS — so shoot your shot, and you never know who might be watching.
We’re proud to carry the Nudie name into this incredible community — and we’re just getting started.
