Nudie Jewellery Featured in Jewellery Press Following Small Awards Shortlist

There are certain moments in a business that quietly mark a shift.

Being shortlisted for the Small Business Britain Awards was one of them.

But seeing Nudie Jewellery featured in the press that followed… felt like something else entirely.

For the first time, Nudie has been recognised not just by our customers, but by the wider jewellery and small business community — and that’s a moment we didn’t want to let pass without properly acknowledging.

From Shortlist to Spotlight

Following the announcement of the 2026 Small Awards shortlist, nearly 90 small businesses across the UK were recognised for their contribution, growth and resilience.

Among them, Nudie Jewellery was shortlisted in the New Kid On The Block category, celebrating emerging businesses less than 18 months old.

Shortly after, we were featured in Professional Jeweller, highlighting jewellery brands showing promise within the shortlist.

For a brand at our stage, being included in industry press like this is a significant step — one that signals we’re building something that’s being noticed beyond our immediate community.

Why This Recognition Matters

Press coverage can sometimes feel like a vanity metric.

But for a small, independent brand, especially in jewellery, it represents something more meaningful:

  • Validation from within the industry
  • Visibility beyond our own audience
  • A sign that the problem we’re solving resonates

Nudie was built around a very specific gap — jewellery that looks beautiful, but is also genuinely wearable for those with sensitive skin.

To see that idea acknowledged in industry conversation is incredibly encouraging.

What We Were Recognised For

The feature highlighted Nudie’s focus on:

  • Hypoallergenic jewellery, tested through AnchorCert Pro
  • A commitment to “real women, real bodies, real skin”
  • Thoughtful, everyday designs that prioritise comfort as much as style

It also placed us alongside other independent brands across the UK who are pushing their respective industries forward in different ways.

That context matters.

Because it shows we’re not just building a brand — we’re part of a wider shift towards more considered, more human products.

A First, Not a Finish Line

This is the first time Nudie has been featured in jewellery press.

And while it’s something we’re incredibly proud of, it doesn’t feel like an arrival.

It feels like a beginning.

A signal that what started as a personal frustration — jewellery that didn’t work for sensitive skin — is starting to gain wider recognition.

Looking Ahead

Moments like this don’t change what we’re building.

They reinforce it.

The focus remains the same:

  • jewellery that works in real life
  • materials that are kind to skin
  • designs that feel effortless to wear

If anything, this kind of recognition raises the bar.

Final Thought

When you’re building something from scratch, there aren’t always clear markers that you’re on the right path.

But every so often, something comes along that quietly says:

keep going.

This feels like one of those moments.
