From Till Girl to Jewellery Shelves: Nudie Jewellery Lands at Oakchurch, the “Harrods of Herefordshire”

We’re proud to share that Nudie Jewellery has officially launched into Oakchurch Farm Shop — a place close to my heart, and now the second official stockist of the collection.

Described by the Hereford Times as “the Harrods of Herefordshire”, Oakchurch is a place that locals treasure and visitors are delighted to discover. Family-run and rooted in Herefordshire for generations, it’s more than just a farm shop. It’s a celebration of quality, community, and countryside excellence.

The Story Behind the Shelves

Before I was designing jewellery or running a business, I was a teenager working back-to-back shifts as a barmaid, housekeeper — and, for a time, a till assistant at Oakchurch.

I’d race over from one job to the next, squeezing in hours wherever I could, usually clutching a Costa and hoping I’d remembered to bring my uniform. Working at Oakchurch was a chance to be part of something that felt proud and polished — I remember admiring how well everything ran, how thoughtful the customer experience was, and the way people genuinely loved shopping there.

To now return nearly a decade later with a brand of my own and see it displayed on their jewellery shelves? It’s one of those quietly surreal moments I won’t forget.
